Hello! My name is Katia! I am a founder of Tasty Slice, Artist, Educator and Executive Pastry Chef.

I create high-end hand-painted custom cakes, chocolate candy, verrines, mousse cakes, and one bite mousse desserts. Elegance and harmony - these are the basic concepts that define my desserts.

I grew up in Ukraine and now living in New York City.  

During my childhood days, I discovered I had some passion in cooking. When I moved to the USA I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It was the right time and place to make my dream come true. I graduated of Stretford Institute and studied Cooking and Catering. I learned how food is prepared using the right recipe, how to use math to create menus and how to cook. This period can be considered a starting point in my pastry chef career.

My brand philosophy is the use of high-quality organic ingredients that will allow the client to receive not only aesthetic but also taste pleasure. One thing never forgets - food is a necessary component of life and good and well-prepared foods always add the value of life.  

My proudest accomplishment is the many return customers. For some, I’ve done engagement cakes, wedding cakes, baby showers, birthdays and more. I love watching people smile as they enjoy their pastry.
